Cyril. And neither Greek, nor Jew, nor heretic is able to stand against it, once our faith has carried off the victory prizes by its works.
IN EPISTOLAM JUDE.
1 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
Cyril. At once securing us, and at the same time branding the heretics, he says these things. Therefore, one must not be surprised at the error and false belief of the heretics; the Holy Spirit having foretold to us through the holy prophets and apostles the rising of these men.
IN EPISTOLAM JUDE.
