63.923 O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, open the ears and the eyes of

my heart, that I may hear your words, and understand and do your will, O Lord, for I am a sojourner upon the earth. Hide not 63.924 your commandments from me, but open my eyes, and I will understand the wonders from your law. For in you I hope, O my God, that you may enlighten my heart.

ΕΥΧΗ ΙΩΑΝΝΟΥ ΤΟΥΧΡΥΣΟΣΤΟΜΟΥ Ἐν τῷ μέλλειν ἀναγινώσκειν, ἢ ἀναγινώσκοντος ἑτέρου ἀκροᾶσθαι.

63.923 Κύριε Ἰησοῦ Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ἄνοιξον τὰ ὦτα καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῆς

καρδίας μου, τοῦ ἀκούειν με τοὺς λόγους σου, καὶ συνιέναι καὶ ποιεῖν τὸ θέλημά σου, Κύριε, ὅτι Πἄροικος ἐγώ εἰμι ἐν τῇ γῇ. Μὴ 63.924 ἀποκρύψῃς ἀπ' ἐμοῦ τὰς ἐντολάς σου, ἀλλ' ἀποκάλυψον τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου, καὶ κατανοήσω τὰ θαυμάσια ἐκ τοῦ νόμου σου. Ἐπὶ σοὶ γὰρ ἐλπίζω, ὁ Θεός μου, ἵνα σύ μου φωτίσῃς τὴν καρδίαν.
