10. Thaddaeus, who is also Lebbaeus, his brother, surnamed Judas of James, preached the gospel of the Lord to the Edessenes and all of Mesopotamia and under Abgar, the king of the Edessenes. He died in Berytus and was buried there gloriously.

Judas the brother of the Lord, after James his own brother and Symeon the cousin of the Lord, leaving him bishop in Jerusalem for 7 years, preached the gospel of Christ in all of Judea and Samaria. He also wrote a catholic epistle, and he formerly had two sons, James and Zoker. He died gloriously in Jerusalem.
