it having been delivered, the things of the old were taken away; for at the same time with the fulfillment of the oracle saying, And one week will confirm a covenant with many, the things of the old covenant were taken away.

παραδοθείσης, τὰ τῆς παλαιᾶς περιῄρετο· ὁμοῦ γὰρ τὸ πληροῦσθαι τὸ φάσκον λόγιον, Καὶ δυναμώσει διαθήκην πολλοῖς ἑβδομὰς μία, τὰ τῆς παλαιᾶς διαθήκης περιῄρετο.
