being slain by the most lawless of kings, and after many labors arriving at the teacher and Lord of all.

Therefore, beloved, we ought to show all diligence, praying to the King of all, Christ our God, that by his love for mankind he might deem us worthy to abide in their traditions and teachings, so that we might receive mercy before his judgment seat; through whom and with whom to God the Father be glory, with the all-holy and good and life-giving Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

τοῦ ἀνομωτάτου βασιλέων ἀναιρεθέντες, καὶ πρὸς τὸν διδάσκαλον καὶ Κύριον τῶν ἁπάντων μετὰ πλείστας πραγματείας ἀφικόμενοι.

Πᾶσαν οὖν σπουδὴν ἐπιδείξασθαι ὀφείλομεν, ἀγαπητοὶ, δεόμενοι τοῦ παμβασιλέως Χριστοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν, ἵνα ἡμᾶς ἀξιώσῃ τῇ αὐτοῦ φιλανθρωπίᾳ ταῖς αὐτῶν παραδόσεσι καὶ διδασκαλίαις ἐμμένειν, ἵνα λάβωμεν ἔλεος ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ βήματος αὐτοῦ· δι' οὗ καὶ μεθ' οὗ τῷ Θεῷ καὶ Πατρὶ ἡ δόξα σὺν τῷ παναγίῳ καὶ ἀγαθῷ καὶ ζωοποιῷ Πνεύματι, νῦν καὶ ἀεὶ, εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.
