1. The exceedingly sublime and elevated and that which is beyond perception of the
things written herein, and the height of the theology and the depth of the direct knowledge of these, is not, I think, comprehensible and accessible to all; for, being illumined by the divine manifestations of the unapproachable light, being beyond all human understanding, it accordingly requires for the comprehension of its contents those whose faculties of the soul are strengthened by the good condition of the word and whose mind is winged to the heights by the breeze of the spirit and who clearly have their thought penetrating wholly towards the heavens and the depths of God. Wherefore to me, while reasonably dedicating reverence to the teacher, it also seemed very timely, beneficial, and fitting
