And he carried away the treasures of the Lord and of the king and all the golden vessels which Solomon had made in the temple of the Lord. And after Jeconiah, Zedekiah his paternal uncle reigned for 3 years, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord, and when he likewise broke the treaty concerning the tribute, Nebuchadnezzar came again, and taking the whole city he burned it, and having captured Zedekiah, he killed his wife and his children before his eyes, and having blinded him and bound him in chains, he led him away captive to Babylon. After the division of the ten tribes, Jeroboam son of Nebat from the tribe of Ephraim, the servant of Solomon and an apostate, reigned 42 years, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord; therefore God also struck him, and he died in his sins. And after Jeroboam, Nadab his son reigned 2 years, and did evil in the sight of the Lord, and was slain by Baasha. And after Nadab, Baasha reigned 24 years, and he did evil, and was slain in battle. 19 And after Baasha, Elah his son reigned 2 years, and he did evil, and was slain by Zimri. And after Elah, Zimri reigned 12 years, and he did evil, and taking refuge in a house, was burned by his enemies. And after Zimri, Ahab his son reigned 22 years, and he did evil, and was slain, and died in his sins. And after Ahab, Ahaziah his son reigned 2 years, and he did evil, and falling from the upper room of his house, he died. And after Ahaziah, Joram his brother reigned 2 years, and he did evil, and was slain by Jehu. in his reign the great Elijah was taken up, and Elisha healed the water of Jericho, which was by nature bitter and undrinkable. And after Joram, Jehu son of Amsi reigned 28 years, and entering the city of Samaria he saw Jezebel, adorned, looking out through a window, and he ordered her eunuchs to throw her down, who was trampled by the horses and eaten by the dogs. And he also struck down the sons of Ahab, and having gathered by cunning all the priests and prophets of Baal, he ordered them all to be killed, and he burned Baal and all his things. However, he did not continue to the end to walk in the law of the Lord, and he was slain in battle. 20 And after Jehu, Jehoahaz his son reigned 27 years, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord, and he died. And after Jehoahaz, Joash his son reigned 14 years, and he did evil, and he died. in whose reign Elisha died, having prophesied through symbols his former victory against the Syrians. And as the prophet was being buried in the tomb, a certain dead man, having approached his blessed bones in the same grave, arose. And after Joash, Jeroboam his son reigned 34 years, and he did evil, and he died. And after Jeroboam, Azariah his son reigned for months, and he did evil, and was slain by Shallum. And after Azariah, Shallum reigned 1 month, and he did evil, and was slain by Menahem. And after Shallum, Menahem reigned 3 years, and he did evil, and was slain by Pekahiah. And after Menahem, Pekahiah his son reigned 2 years, and he did evil, and was slain by Pekah. And after Pekahiah, Pekah reigned 20 years, and he did evil, and was slain by Hoshea. And after Pekah, Hoshea reigned 9 years, and doing evil, he died. And after the aforementioned kings of the Assyrians he reigned, 21 as has been said, Nebuchadnezzar for 27 years. And because he was lifted up, by divine wrath he was driven out from among men and lived with the beasts and ate grass, later, having acknowledged the God of all, he returned again to his own kingdom and became more glorious. And after Nebuchadnezzar, Evil-merodach his son reigned 5 years. And after Evil-merodach, Belshazzar his brother reigned 3 years, who, having defiled the sacred vessels of God at his banquet, which

Μετὰ δὲ Ἰεχονίαν ἐβασίλευσε Σεδεκίας πατράδελφος αὐτοῦ ἔτη γʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρὸν ἔναντι κυρίου, καὶ περὶ τὴν φορολογίαν ὡσαύτως παρασπονδήσαντος αὐτοῦ ἦλθε πάλιν Ναβουχοδονόσορ, καὶ τὴν μὲν πόλιν πᾶσαν παραλαβὼν ἐνέπρησε, τὸν δὲ Σεδεκίαν χειρωσάμενος τὴν μὲν γυναῖκα καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτοῦ κατ' ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ ἀνεῖλεν, αὐτὸν δὲ ἐκτυφλώσας καὶ δεσμοῖς καθείρξας εἰς Βαβυλῶνα αἰχμάλωτον ἀπήγαγεν. Μετὰ τὴν διαίρεσιν τῶν δέκα σκήπτρων ἐβασίλευσεν Ἱεροβοὰμ υἱὸς Ναβὰτ ἐκ φυλῆς Ἐφραΐμ, ὁ δοῦλος Σολομῶντος καὶ ἀποστάτης, ἔτη μβʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου· διὸ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός, καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτοῦ. Μετὰ δὲ Ἱεροβοὰμ ἐβασίλευσε Ναβὰτ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη βʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Βαασσά. Μετὰ δὲ Ζαμβρῆ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἀχαὰβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη κβʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη, καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτοῦ. Μετὰ δὲ Ἀχαὰβ ἐβασίλευσεν Ὀχοζίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη βʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ πεσὼν ἐκ τοῦ ὑπερώου τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ ἀπέθανεν. Μετὰ δὲ Ὀχοζίαν ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰωρὰμ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη βʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Ἰηοῦ. ἐφ' οὗ ἀνελήφθη ὁ μέγας Ἠλίας, ὁ δὲ Ἐλισσαῖος τὸ Ἱεριχούντιον ὕδωρ πικρὸν ὂν φύσει καὶ δύσποτον ἰάσατο. Μετὰ δὲ Ἰωρὰμ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰηοῦ υἱὸς Ἀμεσίου ἔτη κηʹ,καὶ εἰσερχόμενος ἐν τῇ πόλει Σαμαρείας εἶδε προκύψασαν Ἰεζάβελ διὰ τῆς θυρίδος κεκαλλωπισμένην, καὶ προσέταξε τοῖς εὐνούχοις αὐτῆς κατακρημνίσαι αὐτήν, ἣ κατεπατήθη ὑπὸ τῶν ἵππων καὶ κατεβρώθη ὑπὸ τῶν κυνῶν. ἐπάταξε δὲ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀχαάβ, καὶ μετὰ πανουργίας συναθροίσας πάντας τοὺς ἱερεῖς καὶ προφήτας τοῦ Βάαλ πάντας ἀναιρεθῆναι προσέταξεν, καὶ τὸν Βάαλ καὶ τὰ αὐτοῦ πάντα ἐνέπρησε. πλὴν οὐκ ἐφύλαξεν εἰς τέλος πορεύεσθαι ἐν νόμῳ κυρίου, καὶ ἐσφάγη ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ. 20 Μετὰ δὲ Ἰηοῦ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰωάχαζ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη κζʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου, καὶ ἀπέθανεν. Μετὰ δὲ Ἰωάχαζ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰωὰς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη ιδʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἀπέθανεν. ἐφ' οὗ Ἐλισσαῖος ἐτελεύτησε προφητεύσας αὐτοῦ τὴν προτέραν διὰ συμβόλων νίκην κατὰ Σύρων. τοῦ δὲ προφήτου θαπτομένου ἐν τῷ μνημείῳ νεκρός τις ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ τάφῳ πλησιάσας τοῖς μακαρίοις ὀστέοις αὐτοῦ ἀνέστη. Μετὰ δὲ Ἰωὰς ἐβασίλευσεν Ἱεροβοὰμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη λδʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἀπέθανεν. Μετὰ δὲ Ἱεροβοὰμ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἀζαρίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ μῆνας ʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Σελούμ. Μετὰ δὲ Ἀζαρίαν ἐβασίλευσε Σελοὺμ μῆνα αʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Μαναΐμ. Μετὰ δὲ Σελοὺμ ἐβασίλευσε Μαναῒμ ἔτη γʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Φακεσίου. Μετὰ δὲ Μαναῒμ ἐβασίλευσε Φακεσίας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη βʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Φακεέ. Μετὰ δὲ Φακεσίαν ἐβασίλευσε Φακεὲ ἔτη κʹ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ πονηρόν, καὶ ἐσφάγη ὑπὸ Ὠσηέ. Μετὰ δὲ Φακεὲ ἐβασίλευσεν Ὠσηὲ ἔτη θʹ, καὶ ποιῶν τὸ πονηρὸν ἀπέθανεν. Μετὰ δὲ τοὺς εἰρημένους Ἀσσυρίων βασιλεῖς ἐβασίλευσεν, 21 ὡς εἴρηται, Ναβουχοδονόσορ ἔτη κζʹ. καὶ διὰ τὸ ἐπαρθῆναι κατὰ θείαν ὀργὴν ἐξ ἀνθρώπων ἐκδιωχθεὶς καὶ μετὰ θηρίων οἰκήσας καὶ χόρτον φαγών, ὕστερον ἐπιγνοὺς τὸν τῶν ὅλων θεὸν πάλιν ἐπανῆλθεν εἰς τὴν ἑαυτοῦ βασιλείαν καὶ λαμπρότερος γέγονε. Μετὰ δὲ Ναβουχοδονόσορ ἐβασίλευσεν Οὐλεμαροδὰχ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη εʹ. Μετὰ δὲ Οὐλεμαροδὰχ ἐβασίλευσε Βαλτάσαρ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ ἔτη γʹ, ὃς μιάνας τὰ ἱερὰ σκεύη τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν τῷ συμποσίῳ αὐτοῦ, ἅπερ
