we shall be heard for ourselves, when we offer supplication to God for those who wrong and abuse us. If we so order our soul, we too shall be able to say to God with boldness: Have pity on me, and hear my prayer; and he will readily grant it, and will provide for us the kingdom of heaven; may we all attain it, by the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ages of ages. Amen.

ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν αὐτῶν ἀκουσθησόμεθα, ὅταν ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀδικούντων καὶ ἐπηρεαζόντων τὴν ἱκετηρίαν τῷ Θεῷ προσφέρωμεν. Ἂν οὕτω ῥυθμίσωμεν τὴν ψυχὴν, δυνησόμεθα μετὰ παῤῥησίας λέγειν καὶ ἡμεῖς τῷ Θεῷ· Οἰκτείρησόν με, καὶ εἰσάκουσον τῆς προσευχῆς μου· καὶ ῥᾳδίως ἐπινεύσει, καὶ τὴν τῶν οὐρανῶν βασιλείαν παρέξει ἡμῖν· ἧς γένοιτο πάντας ἡμᾶς ἐπιτυχεῖν, χάριτι καὶ φιλανθρωπίᾳ τοῦ Κυρίου καὶ Θεοῦ καὶ Σωτῆρος ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.
