those immortal ages, not this union of marriage, but another far better. For this is only an intertwining of bodies; but then there will be a union of soul to soul, far more perfect, and much more pleasant and better.

ἀθανάτους αἰῶνας ἐκείνους, οὐ ταύτην τὴν τοῦ γάμου συνάφειαν, ἀλλ' ἑτέραν πολλῷ βελτίονα. Αὕτη μὲν γὰρ σωμάτων ἐστὶ συμπλοκὴ μόνον· τότε δὲ ψυχῆς ἔσται πρὸς ψυχὴν ἕνωσις ἀκριβεστέρα καὶ ἡδίων πολλῷ καὶ βελτίων.
