We spoke first of their virtues, and then we introduced their sins. And so you, even if you are a sinner, do not stay away from the church; and if you are righteous, do not stay away, so that having fresh in mind the knowledge of the Scriptures, you may remain righteous, remembering the things concerning the kingdom of the heavens, and those good things which God has prepared for those who love him; for to him belongs the glory with the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Εἴπομεν δὲ αὐτῶν πρῶτον τὰς ἀρετὰς, καὶ τότε εἰσηγάγομεν τὰ ἁμαρτήματα. Καὶ σὺ τοίνυν, εἰ καὶ ἁμαρτωλὸς εἶ, μὴ ἀπολειφθῇς τῆς ἐκκλησίας· κἂν δίκαιος ᾖς, μὴ ἀπολειφθῇς, ἵνα ἔναυλον ἔχων τῶν Γραφῶν τὴν γνῶσιν δίκαιος διαμένῃς, μεμνημένος τὰ περὶ τῆς βασιλείας τῶν οὐρανῶν, καὶ τῶν ἀγαθῶν ἐκείνων ὧν ἡτοίμασεν ὁ Θεὸς τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτόν· ὅτι αὐτῷ πρέπει ἡ δόξα σὺν τῷ Υἱῷ καὶ τῷ ἁγίῳ Πνεύματι, νῦν καὶ ἀεὶ, καὶ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.
