our affairs are in the hand of God. Farewell to me, O Trinity, my meditation and my adornment; and may you be preserved by these, and may you preserve these, my people (for they are mine, even if we are administered otherwise); and may you be ever announced to me as exalted, and growing, both in word, and in life, Little children, keep for me the deposit; remember my stonings. χειρὶ Θεοῦ τὰ ἡμέτερα.
