let us sing a song of victory, shouting, “The good fight, O Logos, you have fought, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness.” Or rather, let us praise the one who provided the victory, the most divine Logos, the true light, which enlightens every man coming into the world, the one through whom are all things, the one in whom we live and move and have our being, the one through whom we resolve such turns of speech, the guardian, the ruler, the benefactor, to whom also we continually offer a sacrifice of praise and pour out as to God sincere prayers and offer the fragrance of deeds, turning ourselves to him, breathing him, thinking of him, holding fast to him, praising him in all things, the blessed hope and provider of the highest kingdom.
