85 The Agnoetae, also called Themistians, who impiously declare that Christ was ignorant of the day of judgment and who record his cowardice. These are an offshoot of the Theodosians; for Themistius, who became their heresiarch, advocated one composite nature in Christ. 86 The Barsanuphians, also called Semidalites, are of the same opinion as the Gaianites and the Theodosians, but they have something more; for they add fine wheat flour to what was supposedly offered by Dioscorus, and touching it with the tip of their finger, they taste the flour, and they receive this in place of the mystery, making no oblation at all. For having abandoned the communions of Dioscorus, as has been said, they add the fine wheat flour, as it was nearly used up, and this has been considered by them as communion. 87 The Hiketai, who are ascetics, being orthodox in all other things, but gathering together with female ascetics in monasteries, they offer hymns to God with a kind of choral dance and leaping, as if imitating that choir formed in the time of Moses over the destruction of the Egyptians which occurred in the Red Sea. 88 The Gnosimachi, who oppose all knowledge of Christianity, in that they say that those who seek out certain kinds of knowledge in the divine scriptures do something superfluous; for God seeks nothing else from a Christian except good deeds. It is therefore better for one to proceed more simply and not to meddle with any doctrine of gnostic study. 89 The Heliotropites, who say that the so-called heliotropic plants, which turn with the rays of the sun, have a certain divine power which works such turnings in them, and that because of this they wish to honor them, not understanding that their revealed motion is something natural. 90 The Thnetopsychites, who introduce the human soul as being like that of the beasts, and who say that it perishes along with the body. 91 The Agonyclites, who at every time of their prayers do not wish to bend the knee, but always standing, they make their prayers. 92 The Theocatagnostae, also called Blasphemers, who in certain words and deeds of our master God and of the holy persons dedicated to him and of the divine scriptures attempt to find fault, being certain audacious and blasphemous people. 93 The Christolytae, who say that our Lord Jesus Christ, after the resurrection from the dead, left his ensouled body below, and with his divinity alone ascended into the heavens. 94 The Ethnophrones, who follow the customs of the gentiles, while being Christians in other respects, who introduce genesis and fortune and fate, accepting all astronomy and astrology, and all divination and augury, and omens and averting rites and divinations by sounds and observation of portents and incantations, and similar things and other myths of the impious, holding to the remaining customs of the gentiles, and honoring certain Hellenic feasts, and again observing days and months and seasons and years. 95 The Donatici, having begun from a certain Donatus in Africa, who handed down to them a certain bone, that holding this in their hand, they should first kiss it, and then partake of the offering of the holy things, when these are about to be offered. 96 The Ethicoproscoptae, who stumble in the ethical, that is, the practical, and certain things
