to the bishop and the presbyters in the Lord: If anyone celebrates the Passover with the Jews or accepts the symbols of their feast, he is a partner with those who killed the Lord and his apostles.

Philo and Agathopous, the deacons, greet you. I greet the company of virgins, the order of widows; of whom may I also have joy. I greet the people of the Lord from the least to the greatest. I have sent these my letters to you through Euphanius the reader, a man honored by God and most faithful, whom I met near Rhegium as he was setting sail on a ship. Remember my bonds, that I may be made perfect in Christ. Farewell in flesh, in soul, in spirit, thinking perfect things, turning away from the workers of lawlessness and the corrupters of the word of truth, being strengthened in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ἐπισκόπῳ καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις ἐν κυρίῳ· εἴ τις μετὰ Ἰουδαίων ἐπιτελεῖ τὸ πάσχα ἢ τὰ σύμβολα τῆς ἑορτῆς αὐτῶν δέχεται, κοινωνός ἐστι τῶν ἀποκτεινάντων τὸν κύριον καὶ τοὺς ἀποστόλους αὐτοῦ.

Ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς Φίλων καὶ Ἀγαθόπους οἱ διάκονοι. ἀσπάζομαι τὸ σύστημα τῶν παρθένων, τὸ τάγμα τῶν χηρῶν· ὧν καὶ ὀναίμην. ἀσπάζομαι τὸν λαὸν κυρίου ἀπὸ μικροῦ ἕως μεγάλου. ἀπέστειλα ὑμῖν ταῦτά μου τὰ γράμματα διὰ Eὐφανίου τοῦ ἀναγνώστου, ἀνδρὸς θεοτιμήτου καὶ πιστοτάτου, συντυχὼν περὶ Ῥήγιον, ἀναγομένου ἐν πλοίῳ. μέμνησθέ μου τῶν δεσμῶν, ἵνα τελειωθῶ ἐν Χριστῷ. ἔρρωσθε σαρκί, ψυχῇ, πνεύματι, τέλεια φρονοῦντες, ἀποστρεφόμενοι τοὺς ἐργάτας τῆς ἀνομίας καὶ τοῦ λόγου τῆς ἀληθείας φθορεῖς, ἐνδυναμούμενοι ἐν τῇ χάριτι τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.
