and each member of us will be the whole Christ. For becoming many, He remains one and undivided, and to each part He Himself is the whole Christ. Surely then you have known Christ thus as both my finger and my penis - did you not shudder, or were you even ashamed? But God was not ashamed to become like you, yet you are ashamed to become like Him? I am not ashamed to become like Him, but I suspected you of speaking blasphemy in calling Him like an unseemly member. Then you have supposed wrongly, for these things are not unseemly! But they are hidden members of Christ, for they are covered, and in this respect they are more honorable than the rest, as hidden members of the Hidden One, unseen by all, from which the seed is given in divine union, divine in the divine form, awesomely formed from the whole of divinity itself, for it is the whole God who is united with us, O awesome mystery! And a marriage truly takes place, the ineffable and divine one; (91) He is mingled with each one, and again I will say these things with pleasure, and each one is united to the Master. If therefore you have put on the whole Christ with your whole flesh, you will shamelessly understand all that I say. But if you have not at all, or only a small patch, put on your soul the immaculate tunic of Christ, I say, in an old garment, you exist in one place for certain and are ashamed of all the other members, but rather possessing a body that is wholly defiled, clothed in filth, how will you not blush? While I speak awesome things about holy members and see great glory and my mind is illumined and rejoices and thinks on nothing carnal, you look at your own defiled flesh and in your mind you run through your unseemly deeds, and your mind is ever mired in these things like a worm. Therefore you attach your own shame to Christ and to me and say: Are you not ashamed concerning the unseemly parts, or rather, to bring Christ down to unseemly members? But I say to you again: Look at Christ in the womb, and understand the things in the womb and His slipping out of the womb, and from where my God came forth and passed through! And you would find something more, beyond what I have said, which He also accepted for our glory, so that no one might be ashamed to imitate Him nor to speak of what He suffered or even to suffer it himself. He became wholly man and is truly wholly God, this one is not divided, a perfect man in every way; but this same one is God, whole in whole members. Thus it has happened even now in the last times
