τῶν βλαχερνῶν, καὶ δείλης εἰσέρχονται εἰς τὸ παλάτιον. ἰστέον ὅτι ταύτῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ οὐκ εἰσέρχονται οἱ δεσπόται εἰς τὸ ἅγιον
θυσιαστήριον. μηνὶ Ἰουλίῳ κζʹ. ἰστέον, ὅτι ὁμοίως ἐπιτελεῖται καὶ ἡ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Παντελεήμονος, τῶν δεσποτῶν ἀπιόντων εἰς
τὸν σεβάσμιον τούτου ναὸν εἰς τὰ Ναρσοῦ. εἰ δὲ βουληθῇ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἀπελθεῖν πλοῒ, γίνεται ἡ ἀκολουθία καὶ ἡ τάξις οὕτως. πρωῒ
προέρχεται πᾶσα ἡ σύγκλητος καὶ τὸ κουβούκλειον ἀπὸ σκαραμαγγίων εἰς τὰ Κανικλείου, καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς εἰσέρχεται ἀπὸ τὸ παλάτιον
εἰς τὸν βασίλειον δρόμονα μετὰ τῆς οἰκείας αὐτοῦ θεραπείας καὶ τοῦ λογοθέτου καὶ τοῦ πρωτοασηκρήτου καὶ τοῦ ἐπὶ τῶν δεήσεων
καὶ τοῦ ἑταιρειάρχου καὶ τοῦ δρουγγαρίου τῆς βίγλας, καὶ ἐξέρχονται οἱ δεσπόται εἰς τὰ Κανικλείου. ὁρμώντων δὲ τῶν δεσποτῶν,
δέχονται τούτους οἵ τε μαγλαβῖται καὶ οἱ τῆς ἑταιρείας ἅμα τῶν πραιποσίτων καὶ τοῦ κουβουκλείου καὶ τῶν ἀρχοντογεννημάτων.
καὶ ἐξερχόμενοι ἀπὸ τοῦ δρόμονος, διέρχονται καὶ ἀπίασιν εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν, καὶ ἐκεῖσε δέχονται τού 561 τους οἱ βασιλικοὶ, καὶ
ἀπὸ τῶν ἐκεῖσε ἱππεύουσιν οἱ δεσπόται καὶ ἀπέρχονται μέχρι τοῦ ἔξω προπυλαίου τοῦ εἰς τὸν ἔμβολον, καὶ τῶν ἵππων ἐκεῖσε ἀποβάντες,
ἀνέρχονται τὰ σκαλία, καὶ διέρχονται διὰ τοῦ πρὸς ἀνατολὴν δεξιοῦ μέρους τοῦ λουτῆρος. ἐκεῖσε γὰρ ἵστανται καὶ δέχονται τοὺς
δεσπότας οἵ τε μάγιστροι καὶ πατρίκιοι καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ συγκλητικοὶ καὶ βασιλικοὶ ἄνθρωποι, καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἐκεῖσε εἰσέρχονται οἱ
