agree on earth, concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. My peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you; remain in my love, as I have kept my Father's commandments, and I remain in his love. This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Into whatever house you enter, first say, Peace to this house. And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate on the way, make an effort to be delivered from him, lest he drag you to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. Truly I say to you; you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last penny. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all people. Owe no one anything, except to love one another. For, You shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, in loving your neighbor as yourself. Let us pursue the things of peace, and the things for building one another up. Love does no evil to a neighbor. Love is the fulfillment of the law. Desire the better gifts; and still 95.1197 I show you a more excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy, and see all the mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing; and if I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body that I may be burned, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is not jealous; love is patient, is kind; love does not brag, is not puffed up, does not act unbecomingly, does not seek its own things. It believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. And again: But now remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. He who loves his brother abides in the light. love from a pure heart. Love covers a multitude of sins. Children, let us not love in word, nor in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And in this we will know that we are of the truth. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.
