It is clear that you would have used all zeal to free me from the insolence, if one must judge by what has gone before. 186.2 Grant this to us now also through our most modest niece who petitions you through us, reverencing the age of the suppliant, and reverencing her character and piety which are not like that of many women, 186.3 and reverencing in addition to the other things both the quiet life of the woman and the fact that she now has troubles from her own kin, and above all, our entreaty. 186.4 The greater grace, however, is the swiftness of the benefaction which we demand.
