Καινόν τι πέπονθα: παρόντι σιγήσας, ἀπόντα ποθῶ, ἵνα καὶ μεταδῶ λόγου καὶ μεταλάβω. Καλὸν γὰρ ὥσπερ ἄλλου παντός, οὕτω δὴ καὶ λόγων ἀπαρχὰς ἀνατιθέναι τῷ Λόγῳ πρῶτον, εἶτα τοῖς φοβουμένοις τὸν Κύριον.
