χελάνδια δύο ἀπὸ τῶν οὐσιῶν τῶν τουρμαρχῶν, ὁ δὲ κατεπάνω τῶν Μαρδαϊτῶν εὐτρεπίσῃ γαλαίας, καὶ διὰ Μαρτίου μηνὸς ἀποστείλωσι
αὐτὰ εἰς Συρίαν, ἵνα περὶ πάντων τῶν ἐκεῖσε μελετωμένων καὶ πραττομένων ἐνέγκωσιν ἀπόκρισιν καὶ ἀληθὲς μανδάτον. ἰστέον, ὅτι
ἐδέξατο ὁ πρωτοσπαθάριος Λέων καὶ ἄρχων Κύπρου, ὁ τοῦ Συμβατίκη, ἀποστεῖλαι ἀκριβεῖς κατασκόπους εἴς τε τὸν κόλπον τῆς Ταρσοῦ
καὶ εἰς τὰ Στόμια, ἔτι δὲ καὶ πρὸς Τρίπολιν καὶ Λαοδίκειαν, ἵνα ἐκ τῶν ἀμφοτέρων μερῶν ἐνέγκωσι μανδάτα, εἴ τι διὰ μελέτης
ἔχουσιν οἱ Σαρακηνοί. ἰστέον, ὅτι ἐδέξατο ὁ στρατηγὸς Θεσσαλονίκης τοῦ καμεῖν σαγίτας χιλιάδας σʹ καὶ μεναύλια χιλιάδας γʹ
καὶ σκουτάρια, ὅσα δυνηθῇ. ἰστέον, ὅτι ἐδέξατο ὁ κριτὴς Ἑλλάδος καμεῖν μεναύλια α, ἅπερ καὶ ἐτελείωσεν. ἐδέξατο δὲ καμεῖν
καὶ ἕτερα καὶ καταγωγιάσαι αὐτὰ ἐν οἷς ἂν
