of your bridal chamber of glory, beholding you, my God, unto ages of ages, amen.

Teaching with theology concerning the energies of holy love, that is, of the light itself of the Holy Spirit. (124)
Who will have the strength, O Master, to tell of you? Those who are ignorant are mistaken, knowing nothing at all, but those who have recognized your divinity in faith are held by great fear and are beside themselves with trembling and have nothing to say; for you exist beyond mind; all things are incomprehensible, incomprehensible are all the works and your glory and the knowledge of you. That you are, we know, and your light we see; but of what kind and what sort, we are all ignorant. Nevertheless, we have hope and hold to faith and we know the love, which you have given to us, infinite, ineffable, contained nowhere, being light, unapproachable light, light that energizes all things. This is also called your hand and is called your eye and your all-holy mouth and power and glory and is known as a face beautiful beyond all. This is a sun that does not set for those who are exalted in divine things, this is an ever-shining star for those who cannot contain more; this is opposed to grief, this drives away envy and satanic jealousy it completely makes disappear. This melts in the beginning and thins, purifying, (125) it drives away thoughts and restrains impulses. This, when it is hidden, teaches one to be humble and does not allow one to be dissipated, nor to wander at all. This, when it appears again, separates from the world and produces forgetfulness of all the painful things of life. This also nourishes greatly and heals thirst and grants power to those who labor well. This extinguishes anger and the boiling of the heart and does not allow one to be angered or to be troubled at all. This, when it flees, is pursued by those who have been wounded
