they were double; 42:13 And there were born to him, it says, seven sons and three daughters. Then also their names, which he perhaps gave them from the events that occurred, naming them Day, Cassia, and Horn of Amaltheia. Then also he speaks concerning the kings and that this one was the fifth from Abraham. The Jews were still in Egypt, they were about to go up thereafter, so that, if they indeed wished, they would have found no small fuel for piety; for it was not likely to be hidden. For if even now the remains are shown, much more would they have been shown then, when the events were recent, and the greatness of what had happened and everyone in Arabia would have known. 200 These things we have said in brief. And it is possible for one who wishes to go through what is contained therein with accuracy and to find something more than what has been said by us. For give an occasion, it says, to a wise man, and he will be wiser. Therefore let each of the readers, looking as if at some archetypal image of this noble athlete, imitate his courage, emulate his endurance, so that, having walked the same road as he and having bravely arrayed himself against all the devices of the devil, he may be able to attain the good things promised to those who love God; by the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ, with whom to the Father, together with the Holy Spirit, be glory, dominion, honor, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
