uninterpreted. But I beseech those who will encounter this, to accept what has been said well and beautifully; but if anything is lacking, to grant pardon. For being men, and lacking perfection, we have contributed our own zeal, providing some benefit to those who love God and love labor, whom we beseech to give in return for the labor of the interpretation the assistance of prayer; so that, supported by this, we may complete the remainder of our life, serving our God and Savior and Lord in deeds and words and thoughts, with whom to the Father, together with the all-holy Spirit, glory is fitting, and magnificence, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. ἀνερμήνευτον. Τοὺς δέ γε ἐντευξομένους παρακαλῶ, δέξασθαι μὲν τὰ εὖ καὶ καλῶς εἰρημένα· εἰ δέ τι ἐλλείπει, συγγνῶναι. Ἄνθρωποι γὰρ ὄντες, καὶ τῆς τελειότητος ἀποδέοντες, τὴν οἰκείαν εἰσηνέγκαμεν προθυμίαν, ὠφέλειάν τινα τοῖς φιλοθέοις καὶ φιλοπόνοις πορίζοντες, οὓς ἀντιδοῦναι παρακαλοῦμεν τῷ πόνῳ τῆς ἑρμηνείας τῆς προσευχῆς τὴν βοήθειαν· ἵν' ὑπὸ ταύτης ἐρειδόμενοι τὸ λειπόμενον τῆς ζωῆς ἐξανύσωμεν, ἔργοις καὶ λόγοις καὶ λογισμοῖς τὸν Θεὸν καὶ Σωτῆρα καὶ Κύριον ἡμῶν θεραπεύοντες, μεθ' οὗ τῷ Πατρὶ, σὺν τῷ παναγίῳ Πνεύματι, δόξα πρέπει, καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια, νῦν καὶ ἀεὶ, καὶ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.
