ἀβάδας, ἤγουν τοὺς τὰ σφραγίδια παρ' ἡμῶν εἰληφότας, τὸν ἀριθμὸν σιϛʹ· εἰσάγειν δὲ καὶ αὐτοὺς στιχηδὸν, καθὼς καὶ τοῖς λοιποῖς,
ἠμφιεσμένους τὰς οἰκείας στολὰς ὡς πρὸς συνήθειαν· ἀνακλίνειν δὲ αὐτοὺς ἐφ' ἑκάστης τραπέζης δωδεκάδα μίαν. μετὰ δὲ τὴν τούτων
ἀνάκλησιν καὶ ἑστίασιν δεῖ ὑμᾶς προσέχειν τὸν τοῦ ὀπτομίνσου μίνσον, καὶ ἐν τούτῳ τῷ καιρῷ εἰσάγειν πρὸς χειρονομίαν τῶν ἀνακειμένων
καὶ ψαλλόντων πατέρων τοὺς δύο μεγάλους τῆς ἐκκλησίας δομεστίκους καὶ ἱστᾷν αὐτοὺς ἔνθεν κἀκεῖθεν τοῦ περιβλέπτου τρικλίνου
πρὸς τὸ ποιεῖσθαι, ὡς εἴρηται, τὴν χειρονομίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ψαλμῳδίαν τῶν ἀνακειμένων πατέρων. δίδοται οὖν κατὰ τύπον παρὰ τοῦ
εἰδικοῦ λόγου τοῖς μὲν ἀνακειμένοις ἐπὶ τῆς βασιλικῆς τραπέζης ιβʹ ἡγουμένοις εἰς φιλοτιμίας ἐπίδοσιν ἀνὰ νομισμάτων δʹ· τοῖς
δὲ λοιποῖς μονάχοις ἅπασιν ἀνὰ νομίσματος ἑνὸς καὶ μόνου· τοῖς δὲ δύο δομεστίκοις ἀνὰ νομισμάτων βʹ κατὰ τύπον. δεῖ εἰδέναι,
ὅτι ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ οἱ πένητες ἐν τῷ χρυσοιστορίῳ ἐσθίουσιν, λαμβάνοντες 749 τὴν κατὰ συνήθειαν εὐλογίαν. εἰ δὲ ἐν τετάρτῃ
ἢ πέμπτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς ἑβδομάδος ἡ Χριστοῦ γέννησις καταντήσει, καὶ ἀπὸ ταύτης ἄρχηται ἡ κλῆσις τελεῖσθαι τῶν ἀκουβίτων, δεῖ ὑμᾶς
