Euclid, at any rate, is laboriously studied in geometry by some of them, and Aristotle and Theophrastus are admired; for Galen is perhaps even worshipped by some. 5.28.15 And those who misuse the arts of the unbelievers for their heretical opinion and with godless craftiness corrupt the simple faith of the divine scriptures, why is it even necessary to say that they are not even near to the faith? For this reason they have fearlessly laid their hands on the divine scriptures, saying that they have corrected them. 5.28.16 And that I say this not falsely accusing them, whoever wishes can learn.
