Τῷ δφζʹ ἔτει τοῦ κόσμου Σολομὼν ἐτελεύτησε, καὶ ἐσχίσθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ εἰς δύο κατὰ τὴν θείαν ἀπόφασιν τὴν ἐξενεχθεῖσαν κατὰ Σολομῶντος καὶ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ πρὸς Ἱεροβωὰμ δι' Ἀχία τοῦ Σιλωνίτου.καὶ ἐβασίλευσε Ῥοβωὰμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν Ἱερουσαλὴμ τῶν δύο φυλῶν, τοῦ τε Ἰούδα καὶ τοῦ Βενιαμίν· αἱ δὲ ἄλλαι ιʹ φυλαὶ τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ἐβασίλευσαν ἑαυταῖς ἐν Σαμαρείᾳ τὸν Ἱεροβωὰμ δοῦλον Σολομῶντος, καὶ ἔμειναν οὕτω διῃρημέναι αἱ δύο βασιλεῖαι ἕως τῆς εἰς Χαλδαίους αἰχμαλωσίας.
