Τοῦ Ἰούδα ζʹ ἐβασίλευσε Γοθολία μήτηρ Ὀχοζία, θυγάτηρ Ἀχαάβ, ἣνἐλιθοβόλησεν ὁ λαὸς κατὰ πρόσταξιν Ἰωδαὲ τοῦ ἀρχιερέως, ἔτη ζʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δχςʹ. Αὕτη καθεῖλε τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ. Τοῦ Ἰούδα ηʹ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰωὰς ἔτη μʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δχιγʹ. Ἰωὰς ἀνῳκοδόμησε τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ, ὃν καθεῖλε Γοθολία. Ἱεροβωὰμ δοῦλος μὲν ἦν Σολομῶντος, πόρνης δὲ υἱός. τούτῳ ἐγένοντο υἱοὶ κηʹ καὶ θυγατέρες ξʹ. Προεφήτευον ὁ οἰκῶν ἐν Βαιθὴλ καὶ ὁ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου εὑρὼν αὐτόν, ὁ ἐξ Ἰούδα προφήτης ἐλθών, θύοντα ταῖς χρυσαῖς δαμάλεσι, καὶ προφη τεύσας αὐτῷ περὶ Ἰωσίου ἐξ οἴκου ∆αβὶδ τεχθησομένου βασιλέως καὶ ἀναιρήσοντος τοὺς τῶν εἰδώλων ἱερεῖς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, ὅπερ ἐρράγη, ἐν ᾧ Ἱεροβωὰμ ἐπέθυε· συλλαβεῖν δὲ αὐτὸν προστάξας τὴν χεῖρα ξηραίνε ται, καὶ δεηθεὶς τοῦ προφήτου θεραπεύεται. ὁ δὲ προφήτης ἐπανιὼν ὑπὸ 222 τοῦ λέοντος διεφθάρη, ὅτι μετέσχε τροφῆς παρὰ τῷ ἄλλῳ προφήτῃ τῷ ἐν Βαιθήλ, ἀπατηθεὶς ὑπ' αὐτοῦ, ὃν καὶ ἐφύλαξεν ὁ θήρ, ἕως ἐλθὼν ὁ ἀπα τήσας αὐτὸν παρελθεῖν τὴν θείαν ἐντολὴν ἔθαψεν αὐτόν. τὰς δύο χρυσᾶς δαμάλεις διὰ τοῦτο ἐποίησεν, ἐκκόψαι θέλων, ὥς φασι, τὸν ὑπ' αὐτὸν λαὸν τῆς εἰς Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἀνόδου ὁ Ἱεροβωάμ. Τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ βʹ ἐβασίλευσε Ναδὰβ ἔτη βʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δφλεʹ. Τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ γʹ ἐβασίλευσε Βαασὰ υἱὸς Ἀχιὰ ἔτη κδʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δφλζʹ. Οὗτος τὸν Ναδὰβ ἀνελὼν υἱὸν Ἱεροβωὰμ ἐβασίλευσε τοῦ Ἰσραήλ. ὁ αὐτὸς ἐπολέμει τῷ Ἀσὰ βασιλεῖ Ἰούδα ἀνελθὼν ἐν Ῥαμά. Ἀσὰ δὲ χρήμαςφιλωθεὶς τῷ βασιλεῖ Συρίας υἱῷ Ἄδερ, τοῦτον ἔπεισεν ἀντιπορθεῖν τὰς πόλεις τοῦ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ οὕτως ἀπέστη Βαασὰ ἐκ τῆς Ῥαμά. Ἀσὰ ὑπὸ τοῦ προφήτου διὰ τὴν εἰς Σύρους πεποίθησιν καὶ οὐκ εἰς θεὸν ὀνειδίζεται. Ἰηοὺ υἱὸς Ἀνανίου προεφήτευσε τῷ Βαασά, ὅτι ἀπολεῖται ὁ οἶκος αὐτοῦ ὡς ὁ οἶκος Ἱεροβωάμ, διότι εἰδωλολάτρησε· καὶ γέγονε κατὰ τὴν προφη τείαν αὐτοῦ. ἀποθανόντος γὰρ τοῦ Βαασὰ Ζαμβρὶ ὁ ἐπὶ τῶν ἁρμάτων υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀνεῖλεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐβασίλευσε. Τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ δʹ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἠλὰ ἔτη βʹ καὶ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ζαμβρὶ ἡμέρας ζʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δφξαʹ. Μετὰ τὸ ἀνελεῖν τὸν Ἠλὰ Ζαμβρὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἡμέρας ζʹ. ὃς ἀκούσας ὅτι ὁ λαὸς τὸν Ἀμβρὶ ἀνηγόρευσεν ἑαυτὸν ἐνέπρησεν. ὁ δὲ Ἰσραὴλ εἰς δύο διῃρέθη, καὶ τὸ μὲν ἥμισυ αὐτοῦ ὀπίσω Ἀβεννῆ, τὸ δὲ ἥμισυ ὀπίσω Ἀμβρί. ἀποθανόντος δὲ Ἀβεννῆ πάντες ὑπὸ τὸν Ἀμβρὶ γεγόνασι. Τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ εʹ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἀμβρὶ ἔτη ιβʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δφξγʹ. Ἀμβρὶ ὁ εʹ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ κτίζει τὴν Σαμαρέων πόλιν, τὴν νῦν κα λουμένην Σεβαστήν, καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν αὐτὴν Σεμμὴρ εἰς ὄνομα Σομὼρ τοῦ κυρίου τοῦ ὄρους. 223 Τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ςʹ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἀχαὰβ ὁ υἱὸς Ἀμβρὶ ἔτη κβʹ. τοῦ δὲ κόσμου ἦν ἔτος δφοεʹ. Οὗτος ἔλαβε γυναῖκα Ἰεζάβελ θυγατέρα Αἰθαὰλ βασιλέως Σιδωνίων, δι' ἣν τῷ Βαὰλ δουλωθεὶς τὴν θεοσέβειαν ἐξωρκίσατο. τότε καὶ τὴν Ἱεριχὼ ἀνέστησεν Ἀζὰν ὁ ἐκ Βαιθήλ, ἀποθανόντος αὐτῷ τοῦ πρωτοτόκου υἱοῦ
