ἑορτὴ τοῦ εὐαγγελισμοῦ τῆς ὑπεραγίας δεσποίνης ἡμῶν Θεοτόκου καὶ ἀειπαρθένου Μαρίας, καὶ τελουμένης τῆς τυπικῆς προελεύσεως
ἐν τῷ ναῷ τῶν χαλκοπρατείων εἰσέρχονται οἱ βασιλεῖς ἐν τῷ παλατίῳ μετὰ τῆς παραδόξου πάσης συγκλήτου λαμπροφοροῦντες, καὶ
μετὰ τὴν εἴσοδον ταύτην ἀποτίθονται πάντες τὰς ἑαυτῶν στολὰς κατὰ τύπον, καὶ φορούντων τῶν εὐσεβῶν ἡμῶν βασιλέων τὰ κεχρυσωμένα
αὐτῶν σκαραμάγγια, συναμφιάζονται πάντες ὁμοίως τὰ οἰκεῖα αὐτῶν σκαραμάγγια, καὶ τελεῖται κλητώριον τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν τῷ περιφανεστάτῳ
τρικλίνῳ τοῦ Ἰουστινιανοῦ ἐπὶ ἀποκοπτῆς τραπέζης, καὶ δεῖ ἡμᾶς εὐτρεπίζειν εἰς συνεστίασιν τῶν βασιλέων ἐν τῇ τοιαύτῃ ἡμέρᾳ
μαγίστρους, πραιποσίτους, ἀνθυπάτους, πατρικίους, στρατηγοὺς, ὀφφικιαλίους, βασιλικοὺς πρωτοσπαθαρίους καὶ λοιποὺς ἄρχοντας
ἐκ τῶν βασιλικῶν ταγμάτων κατὰ τὸ ποσὸν τῆς τραπέζης· εἰσάγειν δὲ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξάγειν ἐν τῇ κλήσει μετὰ τῶν οἰκείων σκαραμαγγίων
καὶ μόνον. τῇ δὲ πρὸ τῆς Χριστοῦ ἀναστάσεως λαμπρᾷ κυριακῇ τῶν βαΐων τελεῖται ἡ προέλευσις ἐν τῷ θεο 763 φυλάκτῳ ἱερῷ παλατίῳ.
προκαθεσθέντων γὰρ ἐπὶ τοῦ χρυσοτρικλίνου τῶν εὐσεβῶν ἡμῶν βασιλέων ἐξαλλαγμένων ἅμα τῷ οἰκουμενικῷ πατριάρχῃ καὶ τοῦ κουβουκλείου
παντὸς πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν κατὰ τάξιν στιχηδὸν παρεστῶτος,
