But I, by the help of God, having received understanding on the spot, answered him, saying: Do you not believe that Christ was crucified? And he said: Yes, and did not deny it. And when he said this, I answered: If the devil is stronger than men, but men who are weaker crucified Christ, it is no wonder if he was also tempted by the devil.
