receiving and fulfilling them until death, will surely not share in my eternal glory, will surely not rest with the crucified one, with me who was obedient to the Father until death, will surely not stand at the right hand, such a one will surely not become a co-heir of those who have crucified themselves. Therefore, do not cease admonishing, therefore do not cease weeping, therefore do not cease seeking their salvation, so that if they obey and if they turn back, you will have them as brothers, you will win your own members and you will bring them to me as genuine subjects, so that I too may receive them through you and glorify them and offer them with you to my Father as gifts. But if they do not deny their own wills, if they do not despise their own souls, as I said, if they do not become dead to their own wills and live in your will in this life, fulfilling my will through yours, you will not lose your reward, you will not be deprived of it, but I will provide it to you twofold instead of single, because even though you were not listened to, you did not stop speaking, but were rather hated and turned away from and detested by them, just as I was once hated and am now, through them and those like them. Through such works I wish you to serve me, through such things and those like them be zealous to please me; for in these things I rejoice greatly. Do not prefer to be idle nor choose at all anything else in the world over the benefit of a soul. (306) For what will he be profited who gains the world or he who educates or teaches those in it or even he who saves everyone, if he himself is not saved? Who then is he, or how, having saved others, will the wretched one not save his own soul, but destroy it? He who breaks my commandment, the Lord of all, and as it were tramples it underfoot and through it goes out and transgresses my laws, leaping over ordinances and going outside the courtyard of the commandments and their fence, if he should save the world and those in the world, he will be a stranger to me and far from my sheep, and especially as one who has destroyed the fence of the courtyard and for the sheep an exit, not from the door alone,
