the sandal of a covered journey. Of old, then, he used a naked journey, creating and providing, but now with the flesh which he is clothed in, which also happens to be his sandal. And since some have shod themselves with the gospel in the preparation of peace, this sandal also, having been spread everywhere, was extended over Idumea according to both of the aforementioned ways.

Ps 108,6-8 Not all things are on the right hand for everyone, but for the virtuous, the intelligible things and the things of virtue, and for the wicked, the things of the senses and the things of vice; on the right hand of the saint God stands, but on that of the sinner, the devil. But perhaps someone will object, saying: And concerning Jesus the great high priest, who was a saint, it is said, "And the devil stood at his right hand to oppose him." But the objector did not pay attention to the difference in the words; for concerning Judas it is written, "Let the Devil stand at his right hand," but concerning the great high priest, "And the devil stood at his right hand to oppose him;" for he stands fighting and resisting the right-handedness of the saint, even if he is not able to overthrow the one at whose right hand God is; but he stands at the right hand of Judas as in his own place. Therefore he is wicked, and what follows also shows his depravity, with the savior praying that the prayer of Judas become sin. A prayer becomes sin for the one who offers it, when he fails to obtain what he asks for. He prayed, then, in a certain way betraying the teacher, that his word might disappear and all the disciples and believers be scattered, but he failed. For his word ran, and those who believed in him, increasing daily, filled the whole world. And in another way a prayer becomes sin for someone, when he asks to receive from God not what he ought but what is not advantageous for him, and for this reason he is judged, since he asked for things that it is not fitting for God to give nor were they profitable for him. The days of every betrayer of the truth become few, which he had while being enlightened, before he betrayed the truth. being enlightened by the true light, and another takes his office in his place becoming a teacher, who both remained and progressed in the truth.

Ps 108,14a The fathers of Judas, those who begot him according to betrayal, can be those who, by giving the silver, incited him to this, and also Satan who put it into his heart to betray the Lord, and the rulers of this age who have its wisdom, about whom Paul says, "For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

Ps 108,16c And he put him to death, having become the cause of his being handed over to death.

Ps 108,21-23 He who is clothed in the form of a servant speaks to the Father as to the Lord. And he speaks to the Lord, so that he may show mercy with him, benefiting the believers who are his body; for what happens to his body he reckons to himself. Therefore he says, "Deal with me for your name's sake," since in this I have come to those whom you sent me, saying, "I have come in the name of the Father;" therefore, for the sake of this name, act, "Because your mercy is good," being beneficent and full of goodness; but act, since "And my heart is troubled within me." You could also say the apostles, who are of one soul with him, are his heart, with the lesser believers being his body. Since, therefore, the disciples were scattered, being scandalized on that night when Judas and the crowd of the Pharisees came to seize him, it happened that they, being his heart, were troubled. However, even if his heart was troubled, it did not depart from him, being contained by him and being inside his disciples. But also everyone whose heart is troubled by thoughts or passions, yet who does or says nothing according to the disturbance, will say, "My heart was troubled within me." Then since always in
