wills, just as a liege man of the same power and of the same empire, and willing the same things and agreeing, which I also do, toward you. 13.12.26 But also from now on, since I have once for all become your man and of the circle of your power, I am obliged to receive an annual payment from the imperial treasuries of two hundred talents bearing the quality and stamp of the former emperor, the lord Michael, through a messenger of ours sent from Syria along with my letters to you to the queen of cities, for the purpose of receiving these for our own person. 13.12.27 And you, the ever-venerable emperors and venerable augusti of the Roman dominion, will surely cherish the things written in the golden bull of your pious majesty and will maintain what has been promised. And I, through this oath, will confirm the things agreed upon by me with you.
