Ἐξελήλεγκται οὖν ἡ αὐτοῦ πανταχόθεν κυβεία, ὥς γε ὁ νοῦς τῶν συνετῶν πάντα ἀκριβῶς γνοὺς καταγνώσεται τῆς αὐτοῦ παραπεποιημένης ἐπινοίας. τὰ δὲ ἄλλα πάντα τὰ νομιζόμενα αὐτοῦ σοφίσματα ληρῳδίας ἔμπλεα, λοξά τε καὶ ἄστατα, παρὰ πᾶσι συνετοῖς γελοιαζόμενα· ἅτινα κατὰ λέξιν διελεῖν καὶ τὰ πρὸς ἀντίθεσιν πάντων αὐτῶν γράψαι βουλόμενος εἰς πολὺν ὄγκον ἐλάσω τῆς κατ' αὐτοῦ πραγματείας τὸν ἔλεγχον. ἤδη δὲ ἀνδράσι μεγάλοις θαυμαστῶς κατ' αὐτοῦ ἀντιρρήσεις τοῦ ἐλέγχου πεποίηνται, Ἀρχελάῳ
