And simply a kind of olive tree. Phratria: kinship; a company. or a malevolent council. And an agreement of some for evil deeds. But properly a phratry is the third part of a tribe. Pharetra: from carrying (*pherein*) and bearing the wounding things. Phatnē: from *phagein* (to eat), *phagē* and *phatnē* by change of g into t. or from *patō*, to eat, *patnē* and *phatnē*.
