Fragment on Psalm 1.5
Of Cyril. But sometimes a certain pity follows them, so that they may not fall into punishments equal to those of the impious. Therefore, these too will live again, but not in the council of the just; and by 'council of the just' he means, for instance, the rank and the dignity. For even if some of those who have sinned are worthy of mercy or pardon, they would not be numbered among the choirs of the saints, for their lot is different. And their boasts are raised high, and grace is an amulet, and delight is unending. For they have harvested the fruit of mighty deeds and are enriched with the rewards of their valor in every good thing whatsoever, as Christ says to them: Come, you who are blessed by my Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Fragment on Psalm 2.7
The Lord said to me, You are my Son, today I have begotten you. He who alone knows the Father and is known only by the Father, his wisdom and his word, the angel of great counsel, very clearly reveals to us the mystery of the economy in the flesh. For being by nature and truly Son, and having shone forth from the very substance of God the Father, he became flesh, that is, man, and underwent with us the birth according to the flesh, although he is pre-eternal and always co-subsistent with the one who begot him. Yet even though he became flesh, the Father also thus knows him as his own Son, for he said, The Lord said to me: You are my Son, today I have begotten you.
You see at the beginning the confession, that is, the proclamation. For he has put "are" to show his pre-eternity; for he did not come to be in time, but was always this, that is, Son. But he added "Today I have begotten you," in order to show his most recent birth according to the flesh, which he willingly underwent through the holy Virgin. For this reason she is also named Theotokos; for she bore not simply a man joined to God by an external relation, but rather the very Word from God the Father who put on human poverty and became man like us. Confessing this faith we have been baptized, and we will not deny the master who purchased us with his own blood. Therefore, when the Father says that he has today begotten the Son who is ever-existing and pre-eternal from him—with "today" signifying the present time, that is, that of the incarnation—let us consider this, that the Father has confessed his own Son even as having become flesh, that is, man, and he makes his second birth according to the flesh his own, as it were. For because he became man, he did not cease to be by nature Son of God the Father, but remained so, a Son, and in his innate dignities, even though being rich he became poor for our sake.

Fragmentum in Psalmum 2.7
