In infirmos Master Lord, the physician of the sick and God of all consolation, who does not wish for man to be sick or in pain, but cheerful and completely healthy, you yourself also raise up your servant Maria who has fallen into bodily weakness and is in all despondency, have pity, do not overlook her, quench the fever, soothe the pain, drive away the listlessness. You who raised up Peter's mother-in-law, who was feverish and lying terribly ill, by your word to minister to you, you yourself, O King, be present now also for your servant Maria and soothe the pain of her soul and the sickness of her body. You who strengthened the paralytic by a word, You who healed the woman with the issue of blood, You who cured the man with the legion; You yourself, Master, be entreated I pray, be persuaded I exhort, have compassion I beseech as one who is long-suffering, do not bring me down alive into Hades, but you yourself raise me up by your invisible and spiritual right hand.
