CatholicLibrary.org contains some 700,000 plus pages of Catholic texts, representing about 3500 plus works. We aim to maximize reach and create advanced interfaces, allowing for new modes of interaction with primary texts.
Library cooperation with CatholicLibrary.org could include adding MARC records to your catalogue, adding a link in your databases section, and funding further development through a 'donation subscription' based on your FTE members/users or similar. We note that most projects of this type are primarily funded through institutional contributions, and your support is critical.
Libraries can also help spread the word by sharing any one of your emails, social media, or other communications designed for this. Specific templates for this use can be found on our parish, school, and university pages.
Wherever possible, we use OCLC fast authority fields for authors and subjects, with fallback to VIAF fields when required. In the occasional absence from both sources, we use our own data. A direct link to each book is provided in field 856, as well as in the field 500 note.
Please note, there is overlap in the files below, since, e.g., parallel works are included in all relevant files.
