in inalienable sanctification; so that with a pure conscience, an unashamed face, an enlightened heart, partaking of these divine sanctified gifts and being quickened by them, we may be united to your Christ himself, our true God, who said: He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him; so that, with your Word dwelling and walking in us, O Lord, we may become a temple of your holy and worshiped Spirit, delivered from every diabolical method working in deed, or word, or thought, and may we obtain the promised good things with all the saints who from ages past have been well-pleasing to you.

all the good things you have provided for us and for the communion of the holy body and blood of your Christ. And we pray to you, Master who loves mankind; protect us under the shelter of your wings and grant us until our last breath to partake worthily of your holy things for the enlightenment of soul and body, for the inheritance of the kingdom of heaven.

Exclamation: For you are our sanctification and to you we send up glory, to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages; Amen.

created creation in wisdom, who through your ineffable providence and voluntary counsel has brought us to these all-venerable days for the cleansing of souls, for the continence of the resurrection; who through the forty days delivered to the hand of Moses the tablets with the God-inscribed letters; grant to us also, good Master, to fight the good fight, to complete the course of the fast, to keep the faith undivided, to crush the heads of the unseen dragons, and that we may be shown to be victors over sin and to arrive without condemnation at your holy resurrection. κατοικῶν καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορῶν, ἔφιδε εὐσπλάγχνῳ ὄμματι ἐπὶ πάντα τὸν λαόν σου καὶ φύλαξον αὐτὸν καὶ ἀξίωσον πάντας ἡμᾶς ἀκατακρίτως μετασχεῖν τῶν ζωοποιῶν σου τούτων μυστηρίων. Σοὶ γὰρ τὰς ἑαυτῶν ὑπεκλίναμεν κεφαλὰς ἀπεκδεχόμενοι τὸ παρὰ σοῦ πλούσιον ἔλεος.

Ἐκφώ· Χάριτι καὶ οἰκτιρμοῖς καὶ φιλανθρωπίᾳ τοῦ μονογενοῦς σου υἱοῦ, μεθ' οὗ εὐλογητὸς εἶ σὺν τῷ παναγίῳ καὶ ἀγαθῷ καὶ ζωοποιῷ σου πνεύματι νῦν

Ὁ λαός· Ἀμὴν Ὁ διάκονος· Πρόσχωμεν Ὁ ἱερεύς· Τὰ προηγιασμένα ἅγια τοῖς ἁγίοις Ὁ λαός· Εἷς ἅγιος, εἶς κύριος Ἰησοῦς Χριστός. Εὐχὴ μετὰ τὴν μετάληψιν Εὐχαριστοῦμέν σοι τῷ σωτῆρι τῶν ὅλων Θεῷ ἐπὶ

πᾶσιν οἷς παρέσχου ἡμῖν ἀγαθοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τῇ μεταλήψει τοῦ ἁγίου σώματος καὶ αἵματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ σου. Καὶ δεόμεθά σου, δέσποτα φιλάνθρωπε· φύλαξον ἡμᾶς ὑπὸ τὴν σκέπην τῶν πτερύγων σου καὶ δὸς ἡμῖν μέχρι τῆς ἐσχάτης ἡμῶν ἀναπνοῆς ἐπαξίως μετέχειν τῶν ἁγιασμάτων σου εἰς φωτισμὸν ψυχῆς καὶ σώματος, εἰς βασιλείας οὐρανῶν κληρονομίαν.

Ἐκφώ· Ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ ἁγιασμὸς ἡμῶν καὶ σοὶ τὴν δόξαν ἀναπέμπομεν τῷ Πατρὶ καὶ τῷ Υἱῷ καὶ τῷ ἁγίῳ Πνεύματι νῦν καὶ ἀεὶ καὶ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων· Ἀμήν.

Ὁ διάκονος· Ἐν εἰρήνῃ προέλθωμεν. Ὁ λαός· Ἐν ὀνόματι Κυρίου. Εὐχὴ ὀπισθάμβωνος εἰς τὰ προηγιασμένα ∆έσποτα, ὁ Θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ, ὁ

τὴν κτίσιν ἐν σοφίᾳ δημιουργήσας, ὁ διὰ τὴν ἄφατόν σου πρόνοιαν καὶ αὐθαιρέτῳ βουλήσει ἀγαγὼν ἡμᾶς εἰς τὰς πανσέπτους ἡμέρας ταύτας πρὸς καθαρισμὸν ψυχῶν, πρὸς ἐγκράτειαν ἀναστάσεως· ὁ διὰ τῶν τεσσαράκοντα ἡμερῶν πλάκας χειρίσας τὰ θεοχάρακτα γράμματα Μωσῆ· παράσχου καὶ ἡμῖν, δέσποτα ἀγαθέ, τὸν ἀγῶνα τὸν καλὸν ἀγωνίσασθαι, τὸν δρόμον τῆς νηστείας ἐκτελέσαι, τὴν πίστιν ἀδιαίρετον τηρῆσαι, τὰς κεφαλὰς τῶν ἀοράτων δρακόντων συνθλάσαι, νικηταί τε τῆς ἁμαρ τίας ἀναφανῶμεν καὶ ἀκατακρίτως φθάσαι τὴν ἁγίαν σου ἀνάστασιν. Ὅτι ἅγιον ὑπάρχει τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ Πατρὸς καὶ τοῦ Υἱοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἁγίου Πνεύματος.
