To those who strive thus, one might well say from the Psalmist: Blessed are you by the Lord, who made heaven and earth. And according to Moses, he will pray for them: Bless, Lord, their works; shatter the brow of those who rise up against them. Be courageous as noble men, run nobly the race for the eternal crowns, in Christ Jesus our Lord, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

οὕτως ἀγωνιζομένοις καλῶς ἄν τις ἐκ τοῦ Ψαλμῳδοῦ λέγοι· Εὐλογημένοι ὑμεῖς τῷ Κυρίῳ τῷ ποιήσαντι τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν. Καὶ κατὰ τὸν Μωσέα, εὔξεται περὶ αὐτῶν· Εὐλόγει, Κύριε, τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν· κάταξον ὀφρὺν ἀνθεστηκότων αὐτοῖς. Ἀνδρίζεσθε ὡς γενναῖοι, δράμετε γενναίως τὸν δρόμον ἐπὶ τοῖς αἰωνίοις στεφάνοις, ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ Κυρίῳ ἡμῶν, ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. Ἀμήν.
