6. This discourse from me to you, O men, is spoken simply and with all goodwill, and this is the mystery of my mind. But may that prevail which will be of advantage both to you and to us, the Spirit leading our affairs (for the discourse returns to the same point), to whom we have given ourselves, and the head anointed with the oil of perfection in the Father almighty, and in the only-begotten Word, and in the Holy Spirit and God. For how long shall we cover the lamp with a bushel, and grudge to others the perfect Godhead, when we ought now to place it upon the lampstand and let it shine for all churches and souls, and for all the fullness of the world, no longer conjectured, nor shadowed forth in the mind, but also openly proclaimed? Which is indeed the most perfect proof of theology for those who have been counted worthy of this grace in Christ Jesus our Lord Himself, to whom be the glory, honor, power for ever and ever. Amen.

ςʹ.
