Ἐρώτ. Τί ἐστιν ἅγιος; Ἀπόκρ. Ὁ ἁγιάζων καὶ ἁγιαζόμενος. Ἐρώτ. Τί ἐστιν, Λόγος; Ἀπόκρ. Λόγος ἐστὶν οὐσιωδὴς, ἀεὶ τῷ Πνεύματι συμπαρών· Ἐρώτ. Ἐν ποίᾳ ὑποστάσει προσκυνεῖς τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ; Ἀπόκρ. Ἐν τῇ τοῦ Θεοῦ Λόγου ὑποστάσει μίαν φύσιν σεσαρκωμένην καὶ προσκυνουμένην, μίαν προσκύνησιν, ἐπεὶ ἐκ δύο συνελθουσῶν ἓν τὸ προσκυνούμενον πρόσωπον. Οὐσίαι δύο, ἐνέργειαι δύο, θελήματα δύο, αὐτεξούσια δύο· πενταχῶς δὲ ἡ ὑπόστασις· ὑπόστασις, καὶ πρόσωπον, καὶ χαρακτὴρ, καὶ ἴδιον, καὶ ἄτομον.
