and of the curse, and of the places of pain, and you will depart, where pain and sorrow have fled away, where there is much joy, and peace, and love, and delight and gladness; where life is eternal, and glory is unspeakable, and beauty is inexpressible; where the tents are eternal, and the glory of the king is secret, and those good things, Which eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and have not entered into the heart of man; where the spiritual bridal chamber is and the heavenly inner chambers, and the virgins who have their bright lamps, and those who have the wedding garment; where the palaces of the Master exist, and the royal treasuries. Have you seen how great are the prizes, and how many things he has shown through a single saying, and how he has brought everything together? So also by unfolding each of the following sayings, we will find a great abundance and a boundless sea.
Let us not then delay, nor hesitate to have mercy on those in need; do not, I beseech you; but even if it be necessary to cast everything away, even to be thrown into fire, even to dare the sword, even to leap against knives, even to suffer anything whatever; let us bear all things with ease, that we may obtain the garment of the kingdom of heaven, and that unspeakable glory; which may we all attain, by the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
