and the honors of angels, and life having no end, and fellowship with angels, and the good things, which it is not possible even to conceive or to speak of, to expect to attain them through sloth and ease and a dissolute soul, and not deem them worthy of the same zeal as worldly things? No, I beseech you, let us not deliberate so badly concerning ourselves and our own salvation, but looking to these saints, these noble and steadfast athletes, who have been given to us as luminaries, let us direct our own life toward their steadfastness and endurance, so that by their prayers we may be able, after our departure from here, both to see and greet them, and to be numbered among their heavenly tabernacles; of which may we all be granted to attain by the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom and with whom, to the Father and to the Holy Spirit be glory unto the ages of ages. Amen.
