Of Gregory. And of those whom we commemorate on this day, and of every choir of your saints, by whose prayers and intercessions, have mercy on us, and save us for the sake of your holy name, which has been invoked upon us.
The deacon says the Diptychs. The priest says to himself. Remember, O Lord, those who have fallen asleep in the
orthodox faith, our fathers and brethren, and give rest to their souls with the holy, with the righteous. Nurture, unite them in a place of green pasture, by the water of rest, in a paradise of delight, and with these whose names we have mentioned. Then he commemorates the living and the dead, and after the diptychs the priest says. Remember, O Lord, those whom we have remembered, and those whom we have not remembered, faithful and orthodox, with whom also to us with them as a good and man-loving God.
The people say. Remit, forgive, pardon. The priest says. For you are our God, merciful, who does not desire the
death of the sinner, but that he should turn and live. O God, visit us in your salvation; deal with us according to your goodness, O you who do exceedingly above all that we ask or think; so that in this as in all things, your all-holy and honorable, and blessed name may be glorified and exalted and hymned, and blessed and sanctified, together with your spotless Father and holy Spirit.
The people say. As it was, and is, and shall be. The deacon says. Go down, deacons. The priest says. Peace to all. The people say. And to your spirit. Preface of the fraction. The priest says. O Jesus Christ, the saving 36.721 name, who the divine and
spotless and heavenly these mysteries did institute; who set the priests in order to serve; and through your invisible power did trans-element them. You who appear to the pure in heart, and to those who genuinely approach through yourself * providing. You who then blessed, now also bless. You who then sanctified, now also sanctify. You who then broke, now also break and distribute. You who then gave to your own disciples and apostles, now also, Master, give to us and to all your people, O lover of mankind, almighty, Lord our God.
The deacon says. Pray. The people say. Lord, have mercy. The priest says. Peace to all. The people say. And to your spirit. Prayer of the fraction. He who is, who was, who has come, and is to come again; who at the right hand of the
Father is seated; the bread, who came down from heaven, and gives life to the world; the great high priest, the author of our salvation; the true light before all ages. Who being the brightness of the glory, and the express image of the hypostasis of your very own Father; who was pleased and deigned to come down from the heights of heaven, from the bosom of the unapproachable light, and of the true and invisible only Father. And was incarnate of the Holy Spirit, and of the all-glorious, spotless, holy Lady of us, the Theotokos, and ever-virgin Mary, and became perfectly man; and having transposed humanity without alteration; having united it to himself according to hypostasis, ineffably and incomprehensibly, unchangeably and unconfusedly, having a rational and intelligent soul, thus you came forth from her, having become God-man; consubstantial with the Father according to the Godhead, and consubstantial with us according to the manhood. Not therefore two persons, nor two forms that is, nor known in two natures, but one God, one Lord, one
