our; For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession with groanings 8.27 which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the 8.28 Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. For we know 8.28 that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to 8.29 His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn 8.30 among many brethren; moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these 8.31 He also glorified. What then shall we say to _these things?_ _If God is for us, 8.32 who is against us?_ _He who did not spare His own Son, but for_ us all delivered Him up, how shall He not also _with Him give us all things_ 8.33 freely? Who _shall bring a charge against God's elect?_ _God is the one who justifies;_ 8.34 who is the one who condemns? Christ who died, and rather was also raised, 8.35 who also makes intercession for us. _Who shall separate us from the love_ of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, 8.36 or peril, or sword? As it is written: _For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter._ 8.37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 8.38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor 8.39 principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 10.1 Brethren, the good pleasure of my heart and my prayer 10.2 to God for them is for salvation. For I bear them witness that 10.3 _they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge;_ for being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to the righteous- 10.4 ness of God. _For Christ is the end of the law for_ 10.5 righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes that the righteousness which is from the law, the man who does it shall live in 10.6 it. But the righteousness from faith speaks thus: _do not say in_ your heart, "Who will ascend into heaven?" that is, to bring Christ 10.7 down; or, "Who will descend into the abyss?" that 10.8 is, to bring Christ up from the dead. But what does it say? The word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart; 10.9 that is, the word of faith which we preach. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10.10 _for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made_ 10.11 unto salvation. For the scripture says: Everyone who believes in Him will not 10.12 be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich toward all who 10.13 call upon Him; _for whoever calls on the name_ 10.14 of the Lord will be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear 10.15 without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: _How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good things!_ 10.16 But not all have obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says: 10.17 Lord, who has believed our report? So faith is from hearing, 10.18 and hearing through the word of Christ. But I say, did they not hear? Yes indeed: _Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and to the ends of the_
