our flesh is from Adam, from the earth; according to this he says, And worship at his footstool. We do not worship the earth, but God the Word who united to himself without sin the flesh of Adam formed from the earth. Therefore, no longer say that the Son is a created God; for say, where did the Father say, I created a son for myself; or the Son, The Father created me? Neither take the human utterances of Christ to diminish him. For if, when these things were said, and human things were shown in him, some dared to say that he was incarnate in appearance and fantasy; if these things had not happened, to what impiety would they not have run aground? Therefore, let everyone who believes in the holy Scriptures worship the Trinity, uncreated, immutable, unchangeable, all-powerful, co-unoriginate, co-eternal, and consubstantial, Father, and Son, who was formerly without flesh, but at the end by his own will became fully human, without sin, immutably and unchangeably; for having become man, he remained what he was, God; for he was not turned from his glory and worth; and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who spoke through the prophets. But as for those who say the Son or the Spirit is mutable, or changeable, or from another substance, or made from non-being, or that there was a time when he was not, let the catholic Church anathematize them. These things are sufficient for one who wishes, even if they are few; for to go through all things is impossible; for time will fail me in narrating. For I do not think the world itself could contain the books that would be written. But we, the unworthy, who have been counted worthy to be benefited by the divine Scriptures, worship the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, to whom be glory and power, for ever and ever. Amen.

σὰρξ ἡμῶν ἐκ τοῦ Ἀδὰμ, ἐκ τῆς γῆς· κατὰ τοῦτο λέγει, Καὶ προσκυνεῖτε τῷ ὑποποδίῳ τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ. Ἡμεῖς τῇ γῇ οὐ προσκυνοῦμεν, ἀλλὰ τῷ Θεῷ Λόγῳ τῷ ἑνώσαντι ἑαυτῷ χωρὶς ἁμαρτίας τὴν ἐκ τῆς γῆς πλασθεῖσαν τοῦ Ἀδὰμ σάρκα. Μηκέτι οὖν λέγε κτιστὸν Θεὸν τὸν Υἱόν· εἰπὲ γὰρ, ποῦ εἶπεν ὁ Πατὴρ, Ἔκτισά μοι υἱόν· ἢ ὁ Υἱὸς, ἔκτισέ με ὁ Πατήρ; Μηδὲ τὰς ἀνθρωπίνας φωνὰς τοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς ἐλάττωσιν αὐτοῦ λάμβανε. Εἰ γὰρ τούτων λεχθέντων, καὶ τῶν ἀνθρωπίνων ἐπ' αὐτῷ δειχθέντων, ἐτόλμησάν τινες λέγειν, δοκήσει καὶ φαντασίᾳ αὐτὸν σεσαρκῶσθαι· εἰ μὴ ταῦτα ἐγεγόνει, ποῦ οὐκ εἶχον ἐξοκεῖλαι ἀσεβείας; Πᾶς οὖν ὁ ταῖς ἁγίαις Γραφαῖς πιστεύων, προσκυνείτω Τριάδα ἄκτιστον, ἄτρεπτον, ἀναλλοίωτον, παντοδύναμον, συνάναρχον, συναΐδιον καὶ ὁμοούσιον, Πατέρα, καὶ Υἱὸν, τὸν πρώην μὲν ἄσαρκον, ἐπὶ τέλει δὲ βουλήσει ἰδίᾳ ἐνανθρωπήσαντα τελείως, χωρὶς ἁμαρτίας, ἀτρέπτως καὶ ἀναλλοιώτως· γεγονὼς γὰρ ἄνθρωπος ἔμεινε τὸ εἶναι Θεός· οὐ γὰρ ἐτράπη τῆς αὐτοῦ δόξης καὶ ἀξίας· καὶ τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον, Πνεῦμα τὸ λαλῆσαν διὰ τῶν προφητῶν. Τοὺς δὲ λέγοντας τρεπτὸν τὸν Υἱὸν, ἢ τὸ Πνεῦμα, ἢ ἀλλοιωτὸν, ἢ ἐξ ἑτέρας οὐσίας, ἢ ἐξ οὐκ ὄντων γεγονότα, ἢ ὅτι ἦν καιρὸς ὅτε οὐκ ἦν, ἀναθεματιζέτω αὐτοὺς ἡ καθολικὴ Ἐκκλησία. Ἐπαρκεῖ δὲ ταῦτα τῷ βουλομένῳ, κἂν ὀλίγα ὦσιν· ἅπαντα γὰρ διεξελθεῖν ἀδύνατον· ἐπιλείψει γάρ με διηγούμενον ὁ χρόνος. Οὐδὲ αὐτὸν γὰρ οἶμαι τὸν κόσμον χωρῆσαι τὰ γραφόμενα βιβλία. Ἡμεῖς δὲ οἱ ἀνάξιοι, οἱ καταξιωθέντες ὠφεληθῆναι ἐκ τῶν θείων Γραφῶν, προσκυνῶμεν Πατέρα καὶ Υἱὸν καὶ ἅγιον Πνεῦμα, ᾧ ἡ δόξα καὶ τὸ κράτος, εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων. Ἀμήν.
