quickly, and scatter all their evil-contrived plot against us, for you are the king of all of us*, Christ our God; and to you we send up glory and thanksgiving and worship, each day, with your beginningless Father, and with the Holy Spirit, now, etc.
The deacon says. Your heads. Prayer of the bowing of the head. You who bowed the heavens and came down upon the earth, for
the salvation of the human race, who has spread forth all the abundance of your grace; who does all things exceedingly above what we ask or think; Lover of mankind, Good One, stretch forth your invisible hand, the blessed one, full of mercy and compassion, and blessing, bless your servants, and cleanse them from every defilement of flesh and spirit; and make us to become partakers and fellow members of your grace, so that in holiness and righteousness offering supplication to you*, and to you is due all glory, majesty, might and authority, together with your unspotted Father, and with the Holy Spirit, now, etc.
Another prayer, likewise. Attend, Lord Jesus Christ our God, from your holy
dwelling-place, and from the throne of your kingdom, and come to sanctify us who have bowed down to you. You who are seated above with the Father, and are here present with us unseen; and deign with your mighty hand, to impart to us of your undefiled body, and through us to all the people. For you are the one who breaks and is broken, and is unbreakable; and to you we send up glory, with the Father, and with the Holy Spirit, now, etc. 36.728
The deacon says. Let us attend to God with fear. Prayer of freedom. Peace to all. The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin
of the world; who shed his all-spotless blood for the life of the world, and for the ransom and exchange for all, you gave yourself, redeeming from death, in which we were held, having been sold under sin. You who does the will of those who fear him, and hears their supplication, and saves them. You who heard the righteous Job as he rose early in the morning and offered sacrifices on behalf of * his beloved children, saying, lest my sons have thought evil in their heart before God. And for me, your pitiable and sinful, and unprofitable servant, I beseech you on behalf of your household, my fathers and brothers, and on behalf of my own wretchedness. With a benevolent face and a serene eye, look upon us at this hour; and forgive us therefore every rejection, and every transgression, and disobedience of the law 36.729 and of your commandments; and further also every conscience, and every thought, and by all * actions, and by all motions that have occurred in ourselves, by day and by night to bind and overcome the soul. And acquit them from every evil conscience, and every fruitless action, and every fiery thought .....* is profane against the purity of the soul. Grant to them the knowledge of their sins, and to abstain from them completely. Bestow upon them the purity of repentance*, and the return to you; for you, Master Lord, willingly became poor when you were incarnate, for the salvation of our race; and you tore up the handwriting that was against us, by the spreading out of your divine palms upon the cross. Spare all, Master, lover of souls, for all things are your servants, and from you is our forgiveness, and not from any of the works of our hands; wherefore we glorify your kingdom and hymn you, Christ our God, which n... lou... on... thoron.
