thoughts flee, leaping away with him, and in addition to all these things, both of the good things here, and of those in heaven 51.63 you will obtain them all. And the example is a sure one from Job, from the apostles, who for God's sake despised the terrible things here, and obtained the eternal good things. Let us be persuaded, therefore, and in all that happens let us rejoice, and give thanks to the God who loves 51.64 mankind, so that we may both live the present life with ease, and obtain the good things to come, by the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory, honor, and power, always, now and forever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

δραπετεύουσι λογισμοὶ, συνεκπηδῶντες ἐκείνῳ, καὶ πρὸς τούτοις πᾶσι καὶ τῶν ἐνταῦθα ἀγαθῶν, καὶ τῶν ἐν οὐρανῷ 51.63 ἐπιτεύξῃ πάντων. Καὶ τὸ ὑπόδειγμα ἀσφαλὲς ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἰὼβ, ἀπὸ τῶν ἀποστόλων, οἳ διὰ τὸν Θεὸν καταφρονήσαντες τῶν ἐνταῦθα δεινῶν, τῶν αἰωνίων ἐπέτυχον ἀγαθῶν. Πειθώμεθα τοίνυν, καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς συμβαίνουσι χαίρωμεν, καὶ εὐχαριστῶμεν τῷ φιλαν 51.64 θρώπῳ Θεῷ, ἵνα καὶ τὸν παρόντα μετ' εὐκολίας διάγωμεν βίον, καὶ τῶν μελλόντων ἐπιτύχωμεν ἀγαθῶν, χάριτι καὶ φιλανθρωπίᾳ τοῦ Κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ᾧ ἡ δόξα, τιμὴ καὶ κράτος πάντοτε, νῦν καὶ ἀεὶ, καὶ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων.
