And the account is most true, and the time of the saving passion is rather well recorded among the Romans; for they noted that He suffered in the consulship of Geminus, which occurred in the 1st year of the 202nd Olympiad. A proof that our Savior suffered in this year would be the testimony of the Gospel according to John, which testifies that after the 15th year of Tiberius, a three-year period of His teaching had passed. That in the 33rd year of Herod, Quirinius, having been sent to Judea by the decree of the senate, made a registration of properties and inhabitants. And in the same year Jesus Christ our God is born in Bethlehem of Judea. The total from Abraham to the birth of Christ comes to 2105 years. That Herod, afflicted by a terrible dropsy and casting out worms 1.333 from his body, ended his life. So there are from Adam until the flood 2242 years, and from the flood until Peleg and the tower-building 538 years, and from Peleg and the tower-building until Abraham came into the land of Canaan 610 years, and from Abraham until the death of Jesus son of Nun 520 years, and from the death of Jesus until David took over the kingdom of Judea 480 years, and from David until Zedekiah son of Jeconiah and the exile from Babylon 448 years, and from the exile until Zerubbabel, in the first year of Cyrus king of the Persians, 70 years, and from the 1st year of Cyrus until Augustus Caesar, in whose time our Lord and God Jesus Christ was born, 502 years. Total years #225500. And after Augustus, Tiberius reigned for 23 years, who founded the city of Tiberias in Judea. And in the 15th year of his 1.334 reign our Lord Jesus Christ was baptized and began his gospel preaching, and in the 18th year of his reign the Lord was crucified. And he rises on the 25th of March as the Lord's day was dawning, which is one and the first, the same as the Lord's Passover; for on this day God created the light and on this day the true light Christ rose from the tomb.
