and falling down before the one who shone, “Behold well for me what I will say!” - the one who shone touches my bonds and wounds with his hands. And where the hand touches or with a finger draws near, bonds are immediately loosed, worms die off, and the wounds fall away; with them falls away filth and a small stain of my flesh, and a scarring-over occurs all at once to such a degree, that a scar is not seen at all in that place, but rather it makes the place shine like the divine hand. A strange wonder, indeed, my flesh, I mean the substance of the soul, yes indeed, and of my body, having partaken of divine glory flashes forth with divine radiance. Seeing this accomplished in part of my body, how will I not desire my whole body and supplicate to be delivered from evils and health, of the sort I mentioned, and to obtain glory likewise? Yet as I was doing so, (246) or rather even more fervently, and as I was being astounded in proportion to the wonders, the Master, the good one, moving his hand, goes around the remaining parts of my body, and I see them, in the way I previously described, being cleansed and clothed in divine glory.
